This is another of the images from a headshot session with Marc Otto. We had some movement shots in which he basically closed his eyes and performed his movements. Make sure you visit his Facebook Page.

This place is busy busy busy! I only had a few hours before my flight and could not wait all day to see this historic building without people in front of it. The best I could get after couple of hours was the building with two people and a sign as you can see in the bottom picture and clean it up later!
This is from a recent trip to Cancun, Mexico. 135 miles later you arive at the magificent Chichen Itza from the Maya era. You can read more about it here
It is a kind of look that keeps you wonder. Is it saying: come. Sit. Sit and tell me your story. Even if I can't help you I can at least listen to you. Or is it a look of: I know what you did yesterday! And you know well that I know!
Yosemite, Hwy 120. Four rock climbers are circled in the blown up section and if you want to see the location on map check Google Map and you can see Tenaya Lake on the opposite side too!.
Yosemite, Hwy 120 E. If you want to see the location on map check Google Map and you can see Tenaya Lake on the opposite side too!. Hard to see, but there are at least 4 rock climbers in this picture. To see them better see here.
I am still not sure about the frame that I have chosen for the portrait of this gorgeous lady. I might try something different and repost at another time!
From a recent trip to the magnificent Yosemite National Park. Those familiar with the Yosemite can identify the Half Dome and the Clouds Rest.
Another school picture from last year. This is also from the school that my own children go to: the wonderful Swallowtail School and Farm in Hillsboro. Check the website to find out about their upcoming open house: Swallowtail School and Farm.

It is that time of the year. Again! Time to have another snapshot of your beautiful child's time at his/her school although the pictures I take are anything but a snapshot! A picture from one of the beautiful families in an extended family photoshoot session in late summer..
First week of school at Swallowtail school (more about school). It doesn't get any better: being outdoor and educated at the same time!.

One more picture from a senior photoshoot session in Summer.
Warm summer days were here not long ago! A picture from a senior photoshoot session.
Swallowtail outdoor school week - I do a lot of volunteer photography at Swallowtail school in Hillsboro, but usually don't post them here. This one is an exception since you can't even see the faces. The first week of school is traditionally held at the school farm property to allow children slowly switching from the summer outdoor play into the indoor space of classrooms. A young first grade student needed a little help before the morning circle and his teacher was ready to extend a helping hand!
First you tie the knot. Then you take a break and get ready for the reception that follows. All under the same roof! Can't get any better than this. Can it?
A few pictures from a senior photoshoot in a beautiful sunny day in Portland.
Some shots from a recent senior session in Portland.
In early June I had the opportunity to take some pictures at the 3 year anniversay of Sweat360. You may find more of my pictures on their Facebook page (http://facebook.com/SWEAT360 - early June). This is one of the best places to get in shape. Owners, Kili and Rob, are two of the sweetest people you can find.
One of my favorite images from a visit to mausoleum of Shah Nematollah Vali, the renowned Persian mystic and poet of 15th century, where a young soul is framed by history.
A few pictures from the Portland Summer Festival.
A surprise proposal by the groom-to-be in a park in North Portland and a chance for a few extra shots of the families and friend that were invited to the small outdoor gathering. Yes. She said yes!
If you remember this picture and this picture from a few days ago, this one is about the lady who was trying to talk to him and seems like she has succeeded!
If you remember the picture from a few days ago, this one is about a lady who is trying to talk to him. Will see what happens next time!
I have a few more favorite shots of her that I will share in future. This one was taken in Downtown Portland in the busy Pioneer Square. Monica Marteau of Fada Salon is the hair and makeup artist.
You have to see these nature's masterpieces to believe them. Stopping in mid-air to refuel. And refuel they do! I was lucky to hear this hummingbird's high speed wing flapping (typically 60-80 times per second) just in time to snap a few shots.
When I was in Hafezieh, Shiraz where Hafez, one of the greatest Persian poets - 14th century, is buried, I noticed this old soul. I took some pictures with a long lens from a distance without being noticed. It looked like he was a regular visitor to the site and you could probably spend hours with him although he didn't seem a type of person who would talk much! I have a few other pictures of him that I will share another time.
If you have graduating children or know anybody who does and interested in a senior photo session let me know!

Can a little guy at this age be this serious?
A mouth watering difficult choice: which one to eat first?
